Weekly Net Information

The Northwest Ohio Amateur Radio Club operates several nets each week.

A 2 Meter Net is held every Monday night at 9 PM local time on the 146.670 repeater.

The purpose of these nets are to prepare a group of amateurs to be capable of managing net operations in case of emergency or disaster situations.

The nets also provide a format for the amateur group to check in and make announcements, discuss activities of interest, and they provide a meeting place for local amateurs.

All amateurs are welcome to check into the nets.

Net operators are always needed. This is an opportunity to perfect your skills at net operation before emergency communications are needed.

Any "ham" willing to take over net operations for a month should contact net control on the weekly net
